Rebound Therapy refers to the therapeutic use of trampolines to provide exercise and recreational activities for individuals with various special needs. These may include those with profound and complex learning disabilities, moderate to severe learning difficulties, autism spectrum condition (ASC), motor coordination challenges, dual sensory impairments, or sensory processing issues.
The therapy aims to enhance movement, improve balance, regulate muscle tone, encourage relaxation, support sensory integration, boost physical fitness, and enhance communication skills.
