It is the means by which we offer and put into practice, a curriculum which is broad and balanced including aspects of the National Curriculum, where appropriate. We work collaboratively, involving parents, multi-disciplinary professionals and the wider community, in a setting which promotes equal opportunity and respect, enabling children to apply and consolidate their learning.
Using the EHCP as starting point of a child’s education, we provide access to the curriculum through a clearly defined pathways – our creative teaching staff differentiate teaching to match the learning styles and individual needs of our pupils; with removal of barriers to learning and communication development underpinning our curriculum approach.
